How to make your Porsche 997/ 987(Boxster, Cayman, 911) windows go up & down via Key FOB? Foxwell NT530 Scan Tool can easily program it. Following I’ll show the operation step by step.
Plug NT530 scanner connector into OBD2 port.
Flip the ignition switch to ON.
Go to select on NT530,
PORSCHE >> SmartVIN >> Programming >> Driver’s door control system >> Coding adaptations >> Customer-specific settings
Close comfort /Open comfort >> Enable ON >> Save
This is going to allow using key fob to roll the windows up and down. So by default these values will be set to off. All you’re going to do is simply select these options and then enable it for ON. After that, save the settings.
Go back to the passenger’s door to do the same thing:
Passenger’s door control system >> Coding adaptations >> Customer-specific settings >> Close comfort /Open comfort >> Enable ON >> Save
Now, I have all settings done.
Let’s have a try.
When I hold down the UNLOCK button, both windows are rolled down.
When I lock the car and hold it, the windows will go up.
Note: On the passenger side, it doesn’t go up all the way. Because for the automatic function, the window will only go up about halfway and it’ll come back down. So you have to do it again.
This is how to use Foxwell NT530 Porsche to program the windows going up and down with key fob. It also supports to reset oil light, program the side markers to become blinkers, disable the seat belt chime and other cool things.
