2012 Cadillac CTS ABS Bleeding via Foxwell GT60 Plus

How to do ABS bleeding for a 2012 Cadillac CTS with Foxwell GT60 Plus Diagnostic Tool? Here I’ll show the procedure.

 

Connect GT60 Plus with OBD2 port, press

VIN >> Automatic read >> Yes >> Control modules >> Electronic brake control module >> Special functions >> Automated bleed

Just follow the prompts to operate:

  1. Do not alter the brake pedal pressure.
  2. Open the left front bleeder screw.

The step will take about 60s…

 

  1. Do not alter the brake pedal pressure.
  2. Close the left front bleeder screw.
  3. After closing the left front bleeder screw, slowly release the brake pedal.

 

  1. Right front wheel should be prepared for bleeding.
  2. Press the brake pedal firmly but allow pedal to go up and down during performing of routine.

 

  1. Do not alter the brake pedal pressure.
  2. Open the right front bleeder screw.

The step will take about 60s…

 

  1. Do not change brake pedal pressure.
  2. Close left front bleeder screw.
  3. After closing the right front bleeder screw, slowly release the brake pedal.

 

  1. Right real wheel should be prepared for bleeding.
  2. Press the brake pedal firmly but allow pedal to go up and down during performing of routine.

 

  1. Do not alter the brake pedal pressure.
  2. Open the right rear bleeder screw.

 

  1. Do not change brake pedal pressure.
  2. Close right rear bleeder screw.
  3. After closing the right rear bleeder screw, slowly release the brake pedal.

 

  1. Left rear wheel should be prepared for bleeding.
  2. Press the brake pedal firmly but allow pedal to go up and down during performing of routine.

 

  1. Do not alter the brake pedal pressure.
  2. Open the left rear bleeder screw.
  3. Do not change brake pedal pressure.
  4. Close left rear bleeder screw.
  5. After closing the left rear bleeder screw, slowly release the brake pedal.

 

Procedure is completed.
